Always a favorite at TED, last year Jill Sobule lent her magical voice and witty performances to TED@Palm Springs, now TEDActive. Since then, she's been promoting her latest spiffy album, California Years -- whose first track is none other than "Palm Springs" (<< listen here >>). She's also beginning a new tour with Erin Mckeown, producing some absurdly cute t-shirts and beginning a new section for her site called Sobulistan Town Hall.
